Bacchante Antique Garden Wall Fountain

Large Bacchante wall fountain spout, rectangular form centering a classical molded mask with a crown of grapes and acanthus leaves, paired with the Antique Istrian stone cistern basin. The basin has a demi-lune front and straight back allowing for the basin to rest flat against a wall.
The curved front is decorated with spiraling vine-work along the top and deep foliate carvings around a pair of mythical griffins on either side of a vase. The back of the planter has a carving of an armorial shield with a standing lion. Very old and primitive carvings. Some restoration to the lower area of the planter.
