Antique Carved Millstone, 22.5″D

Antique thick, hand carved millstone with square center. Carved letters on the top edge, possibly from the dresser who would mark the millstone with a number or letter to signify who dressed the stone. This old millstone also has a unique, whimsical carving on the side. Well weathered and worn from generations of use.        

We collected several millstones from a local New England property. Set of 3 similarly sized millstones (with natural variations) are available.
