Antique thick, hand carved millstone with square center. Carved numbers on the side, possibly from the dresser who would mark the millstone with a number or initial to signify who dressed the stone. Well weathered and worn from generations of use.
We collected several millstones from a local New England property. Set of 3 similarly sized millstones (with natural variations) are available.
