American Antique Millstone, 22″D

Antique carved millstone with square center. Carved numbers on the top, possibly from the dresser who would mark the millstone with a number or initial to signify who dressed the stone. Well weathered, American millstone with old hand prints in blue paint.

Most of our antique millstones come from England but we had the good luck to collect several authentic antique millstones from a local New England property. Sets of similarly sized millstones (with natural variations) are available.
