Boy and Dish Birdbath

Sweet garden birdbath of a seated boy holding a fluted dish over his head. Birdbaths were one of the first garden ornaments that were easily purchased     and a simple, yet satisfying focal point for a new garden. The use of water in the garden to nurture nature is seen most obviously in the use     of a birdbath. Nicely weathered.
