Please note that our showroom is currently closed until further notice.

Impressive Antique English Lead Centerpiece Fountain, early 20th C. This monumental beautifully aged and weathered deep round cistern fountain has well executed symbols of the 1707 Act of Union between Scotland and England, which formed Great Britain under Queen Anne, the last Stuart sovereign. The strap work is indicative of the late 17th - early 18th century decoration.

In the center of the fountain pool is a simple, elegant copper spout and lead pumphouse.

The second picture shows a similar lead fountain in a private garden in England.

The soft palette of the aged lead distinguishes this important fountain. The depth of the fountain allows water to create wonderful resonant sound. Over the generations, this lead pool has developed a beautiful grey patina.

Imported from England.
