The Shepherd – Lead

Please note that our showroom is currently closed until further notice.

English lead statue of a shepherd holding a tall staff, in traditional English clothing of the 1700s. This figure is elegantly attired, with lovely detail and gracefully posed. A wonderful focal point from all angles. Originally created by renowned lead sculptor John Cheere (1709-1787), the same statute stands in Kew Gardens and a few other important English Gardens.  When exposed to weather, lead will develop a beautiful grey patina that will last generations.

Imported from England.
