19th Century Copper Pot

Antique copper pot with rolled rim and hand hammered iron handle. Well used and loved. Pot has been repaired at least two times resulting in a completely reinforced and riveted flat.

In the 19th century copper cauldrons were used for cooking or boiling water for laundry over a fire. Today, these antique pots could be used as planters or water basins, tool holders or firewood bins.
