Antique Carved Cornish Granite staddle stone, nicely shaped cap with round tapered base. Well weathered with moss.

Staddle stones were agricultural building supports that held up granaries, haystacks, and beehives to protect them from small animals allow air circulation underneath. Usually made of granite or sandstone they were carved from the local stone.
