Early 19th century granite Staddle Stone. Imported from England.
We had the good fortune of finding several staddle stones on one estate in Cornwall England. All are carved from Cornish Granite as is this one, with round bases and thick caps with a flat tops to support the family granary. These wonderful mushroom like structures look good on their own, or in pairs to mark an entrance or in groups. Give us a call to put a pair or group together for you.
