English Spring Statue & Pedestal
A beautiful cast limestone statue of a Maiden draped in classical ropes with cascading flowers in her hair, one arm across her chest and the other supporting a floral swag, a lovely depiction of Spring. Copied from a carved stone English original ca. 1880. Shown in the last picture is Spring along with a beautiful companion, the English Autumn Statue. Over 6ft tall with the pedestal.
The Wreathed Pedestal is after an Italianate terra-cotta original decorated with classical wreath motif ca. 1900.
