Beautifully weathered massive Old English carved stone sink, hand hewn and well proportioned with consistent sides and smooth interior. Mossy with good patina and in excellent condition.
Every old English home had a stone sink in the basement or lower level to prepare and then salt their winter's supply of meat and fish. Due to its size this sink must have come out of a large manor house.
