Early 19th Century, Large Hand-carved Stone Rectangular Trough from Yorkshire England. Rough carving marks inside and outside of trough. One drainage hole in corner. Nice proportions. Over 150 years old.
Typically antique stone watering troughs tend to be long and narrow, but this one is particularly wide and deep. Could be used as a fountain basin or planter. Well weathered with good patina.
